WINCAPAW MEMORIAL PLAQUE DEDICATION CEREMONY
Saturday, October 14th, 2006

A dedication and unveiling of a memorial plaque in honor of Capt. William H. Wincapaw (founder of the Flying Santa flights) was held at the Maine Lighthouse Museum in Rockland, ME. The ceremony was followed by a multimedia presentation on the history of the Flying Santa flights by lighthouse author and historian Jeremy D'Entremont. NOTE: A full report will be added later.
